ESD damage to a laptop?
Hello, 5 of my Dell laptop does not light due to ESD (Electro Static Discharge), I feel. All are new and initially thought the problem is with power surges or an Internet modem or my cold temperature. However, I have bought a protector Surge clear increase in problems and damaged equipment appears to be static and planning to buy an anti-static wrist strap. However, when I have to connect the plug of crocodile. Some say that a grounded metal one. Can I connect to the screw power outlet or suggest me a good one. Thanks!
